A track that ran for a short time some where late 1940’s or early 1950’s was at the Gleneagles oval located close to the intersection of Grange Road and Tapleys Hill Road (now called Seaton).

There was a quarter mile dirt track around the perimeter of the oval shared by the Henley and Western Districts cycling club and a motorcycle club.

After a short time it was abandoned by the motorcycles probably due to noise, dust and ruining the track for the cyclists.

Soon after the track was bitumised and the cycling track club continued for many years.
