Can anyone help Identify a Car that is being restored?

John Sluce is trying to identify a car that he is rebuilding.

Below are some photos of the car as he found it. From information available to him, it has been suggested that it may be Murray Hoffman's car SA No 83.

The front end of the car

A view of the body from the Front Right Hand side

A view of the body from the Rear Right Hand side

A close view of the Rear End Right Hand side

The Front Right Hand side brake Axle assembly

He has been told that Murray's car had a 4 cylinder Holden or Vauxhall engine in it. His had the same type of engine and it is very coincidental to have two cars with the same No 83 and the same engine types which is not a popular engine.

The car is pre roll cage which is very well built for the 1960's and it is named "The Impossible Dream".

If anyone could help him Identify this car, it would be appreciated and/or a photo have of the Hoffman car No 83 so at least that he can verify it one way or the other.

There has been a lot of ground work done since the photos were taken.

To contact John: Phone (07) 4129 5897 or Email: John Sluce - Member of  H.S.A.Q Inc. and V.M.A Q.
