"Harley Dillon"

Harley Dillon was killed at Rowley Park on 25th February 1966 whilst competing in a Speedcar accident at a Rowley Park Charity meeting..

He was in his first season as a speedcar driver after having raced solos about 10 years ago.

Unfortunately, his son Grant, one of Harley's five children and only 9 years old was present and saw it all happen.

It was reported in the "Adelaide Advertiser the next day of which a cutting of a copy of the article is below.
